Washington is the capital of the US. Its situated in the District of Columbia. Washington stands on the Potamac River. Washington is the home of all goverment institutions: Congress, The White House, The SupremeCourt. The Capitol is American parlament which is called the Congress. You can see Washington monument its the monument to the First president of America. The White House is the residence of American President. Its adress is 1600 Pennsilvania Auenue NW (North West), Washington, DC 20500. You can see Lincoln Memorial. Abram Lincoln was the president who abolished the slavery. Also, you can see the other interesting places in Washington. For example, The Smithsonial National Air Museum, The Smithsonian American History Museum, International Museum, Spray Museum and others.
