Westminster is a historical part of London. There is the Westminster Palace where Britains Parlament is situated. At first the Westminster Palace was used as royal residence. Westminster was found in 7th century on the left side of Thames. It has a large concentration of Londons historic landmarks and tourists attractions. People from all over the world come to see the Palace of Westminster, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and Westminster Cathedral. The name Westminster describes an area around Westminster Abbey and the Palace. London can be divided in two areas - the city of London which is an ecomonic center and a political and cultural center is Westminster.
